Cannondale Synapse Vs Cervelo R3

I have been searching for a new bike and after much searching it has come down to a cannondale synapse carbon ultegra or a cervelo r3 frame.

Cannondale synapse vs cervelo r3. R3 revamped for endurance riders. The cervelo rs is much closer in geometry to the synapse then the r3. The cannondale synapse has a more relexed geometry taller head tube for example. He is totally split between the two bikes.

I think it is a great riding bike. Both my specialized roubaix and sam s cannondale synapse can boast similar winning pedigree although i can t help reminding sam of what it says on my top tube. As an alternative i have received a very good offer for a 2017 synapse black inc with etap and very good components. I totally vouch for the r3 it rides like a dream.

From a price standpoint both deals are pretty much the same the specialized with the better wheels will cost as much as the black inc synapse. 2008 2009 2010 2012 2014. This year s paris roubaix cervelo frames ridden by cancellara and o grady were a mixture of r3 and rs. Hi hope someone can help me.

Last time i looked the synapse had steep er sta than rs rs has 73 sta across all sizes which is 0 5 degrees slacker. I know that replacing the wheels with something like the mavic r sys would shave several. In my case cervelo rs would win my vote due to it s slacker sta. Fwiw sent from my gt p5113 using tapatalk.

Between the two i would lean towards cervelo now. Yet it can do this with a smotheringly smooth ride that s akin to bikes like cannondale s synapse. Im looking for a bike weight of about 15lb which the cervelo would be with the right equipment but the cannondale comes in at 17lb. I have a cervelo rs by the way.

Loved the relax geo it was also easy on my back which is very important. I am leaning towards the synapse since i feel it s the better deal. Wondering if anybody out there has both an r3 and pinarello dogma or has lengthy riding experience with both. Decided to wait for the 2015 because its so close to release.

I test drove a couple 2014 s and they felt gooooood. For cannondale i d say i ve seen more issues with their carbon bikes being misaligned or cosmetic issues here on this forum lately the cannondale fan boys will be coming for me now to link specific examples. 48cm 51cm 54cm 56cm 58cm. Cervelo r3 s2 or the 2015 synapse carbon 5 105.
