The bike you see here is the 2016 model and for 2017 the cannondale bad boy will be gaining a lefty fork with the upper two models of the range having a suspension fork with built in led lights.
Cannondale bad boy 4 lefty review. It is one of the most modern and up to date urban bikes available. Bad boy rolls big volume tires on 650b wheels that are fast rolling and nimble handling with crazy cornering grip and pothole erasing comfort. A modern fully rigid mountain bike made for pavement. Street fighter with its stiff lefty lightpipe fork grippy tires and agile point and shoot handling bad boy is built to take the city by storm.
The cannondale bad boy is a premium urban bike that offers style and substance in a single package. They are nice and wide to give the tyres extra support aiding the handling of the bike at speed. With the unique lefty technology and a lightweight frame this bicycle is responsive. The components have been carefully chosen to provide the performance needed for both short and long rides.
The cannondale bad boy 4 2018 is a fantastic urban bicycle for the avid commuter. Rims are cannondale c2 for the bad boy 3 and 4 while the 1 and 2 get cannondale c1 rims. One could argue for a road drivetrain for example a compact crankset and a 12 27 in the rear but obviously one of the selling points for the bad boy is that with a swap to a 26 mountain bike wheelset it becomes 100 mountain bike. The bad boy is definitely worth considering if you are looking for a great commuting bike with solid looks.
Bad boy 1 seems to be the perfect bike for shredding city streets if you have comfort reliability and performance in mind. A swift urban commuter specced with logical components. The bad boy disc is the bike i have wanted for a long time. Similarly the bad boy 3 and 4 get different tyres from the 1 and 2 models.
